Just got word from my sources that Dantley is heavily leaning towards Chaminade. A NCAA D2 school located in Hawaii which is in the Pac West Conference. They play in the Maui Invitational every year as well. Might be an interesting matchup. Dixie State is also in this conference and is fairly close to home and Dantley really wanted to attend there, because they have become a west coast powerhouse for D2 schools. However word is that Dixie declined on having him on the team because they already gave their word to a few other recruits and they would be too full at the guard position. Dantley originally wanted to go to Weber State or SUU, but the NCAA D1 waiver issues were going to be a struggle. He wants to play and play now.Things are still fairly early so everything could change in a minute, but regardless of your opinion on Dantley he was a good kid who can play some ball, and I hope he does well wherever he ends up. Dixie may make a last minute push for him if some things work out, because they really like him. The logistics may push him to Chaminade though and it seems that's the option he is being left with.
