Most but not all of the Bracket prediction services show the WCC as a lock for three bids ( Gonzaga, BYU and St. Marys). Also, most ( Lunardi is an exception) show the MWC as a one bid league with Utah State being one of the first 4 or 8 out.
When you look at the Conference RPI's we are one place behind the WCC. But it is only by a small fraction and SOS is so close statistically as to be a tie.
You never know what will happen till the selections are made, but it looks to me like the WCC is getting a benefit of the doubt based on past years performance and we are going to get screwed.
I don't care that much as the Rebels are only going as an automatic bid. But this type of thinking could hurt us in the future. It could hurt is we are second looking in and it could hurt seeding when we do get in.
