I believe he was out there...

No tackles.

Rebs forced a number of short drives limiting the number of tackle opportunities.(That's a good thing).

I also believe he may be behind Salu/Hester and even Jackson now. All four are going to play, but I have to think Hesters familiarity with the defense gives him an edge.

He was running with the second group of LB’s. It looks like Hester and Jackson definitely have the upper hand and a lot of that could due to their experience at that position and in Skippers defense. He looked better to me in passing situations but he wasn’t afraid to mix it up on runs.

On a side note Hester did an admirable job keeping up with a guy out of the backfield on a 30 yd pass play.

Vic played and played a solid game. He forced some plays to go the other direction and had a few series with Jackson that caused the SUU offenses fits.
