Maybe the recruitment of 4 star recruit Deshawn Corpren by Beard at UALR will give us some insight on his recruiting abilities. Beard obtained a verbal from Corpren at UALR even though he had offers from Kansas, Texas, Texas A&M, Mizzou ect. In fact, I don't know if UALR ever received a verbal from a 4 star player before. However, after committing he opened his recruiting for a lot of reasons and the primary one was the fact he had committed to UALR instead of KU, UT, TA&M ect. I wonder since he has now taken over the UNLV job will Beard make another run at Deshawn?
