I know last year is a "throw away" year....
This season, during the stretch run, call it the new year until the end of the season, we are 8-9.
Or if you want to narrow it down to February to the end of the year, we are 3-6 down the stretch.
Last season from new year until the end of the season, we were 3-14.
From February until the end of the season, they were 1-9.
Combined.... new year to end of the season, we are 11-23
February until the end of the season, an appalling 4-15
This is the stretch run. This is where you hope teams peak. Even bad teams, you want them IMPROVING, not going down some vaseline laced 175 degree angle.
What is it? What causes that? Were the workouts with the Navy SEALS too much that it just took the energy away from them? How can there be this level of absolute regression among very mediocre competition?
