I tend to be very skeptical with any sexual harassment accusations, considering the shear number occurring in every industry, and many of them found to be fake. I take the innocent until proving guilty instead of guilty because someone said so path.
I agree. I guess he left all together today. I hope he wasn’t trying to bang everything around UNLV. There will probably be lawsuits and stuff.
Worth noting: I haven't seen anything that says sexual harassment. Only harassment... I normally wouldn't bat an eye, but because the cultural climate is sexual harassment and this does NOT match that in name. If anything, places are too quick to tag actions that way, but this was specifically worded WITHOUT that.
Either way, hope there's nothing serious to it and hope the gal who is taking over does well and there are no issues short or long term.

When you say many of them were found to be fake, which ones are you talking about? I don't remember seeing that any were found fake, though fake accusations are certainly possible. As a matter of fact, I cannot think of a single case where any harassment accusation has been adjudicated .
So far, accusations are made and the accused either admits or denies the accusations. Then nada.
If he left because of accusations, that tells you all you need to know. He wants to avoid the embarrassing allegations being made public.
Yeah. He probably wants to try to get another job. If they were all made public it would be real hard. He shouldn’t haven been harassing everyone around there.
I worked with Eric for a long time while I was at unlv. From my perspective, he did a great job and if asked to write a reference letter, it would have been glowing. Assuming the accusations are credible, I had no idea there was a less than professional side to Eric’s actions on campus. I am fascinated by the variety of people being mowed down by the “me too” movement. Makes reading the RJ more fun.
