Now that he's departed Lubbock for Austin, we can safely say that the rhetoric Chris Beard spewed over the last five years was nothing but malarkey.
The tears, so salty! Hope Beard fails at Texas though. I hate a guy with no morals at all and seeing what he does if he fails with all the bridges he's burned would be interesting.
He will always have a spot somewhere with his resume. I see his coaching style in direct conflict with the 4 and 5 star kids UT fans are going to expect. Has to be the right kids. He does better with more unheralded kids he can coach up and get them to play hard nose/disciplined ball.
