Don’t fall in love with the stars he had in HS… There will be better ones out there that have won and done well in college. 3 schools in 3 years while not starting at his 1st two tells me all I need to know. HS is a ton different that D1… can’t survive on talent alone and when the HS he played for was absolutely stacked it made it even easier for him to shine.
Mullen will study Ochoa really well. If he sees this kid has potential to be good we keep him. I think Ochoa will be here next year. He can learn a lot from Mullen and only get better.

Four days ago we were worried how far down the rabbit hole UNLV football could fall without a coach, now we are writing about the possibility of 4* transfers from the portal. Now UNLV is starting to know how Boise State feels in that every time something bad comes up, something else happens to fix the problem. Would love to see a family member of his at UNLV. While I think he has a connection to coach Odom, he did come here before coach Odom, and is also very well tied into UNLV! The more high level graduates that make it into the NFL, the easier it will be to make connections with future NFL prospects!

My concern would be if we had the NIL to actually compete with Mississippi State. We will see how it all works out and I'm sure we have other targets in mind.

4 and 5 star QBs will have overbearing parents. It comes with the territory. The trade off is you get incredibly talented players. Mullens dealt with that in the SEC, he can deal with it here
Great kid, tremendous arm. In my opinion, Gorman would have been first in the nation with him behind center this last season.
