I figured why not start a fresh thread for the portal focusing on non-UNLV potential inbound players! If rumors are true and they are doubling (or more?) the NIL budget, it opens up to a lot more prospects.

I know nothing about this one, or know much about this part of Football but here is a for fun one to start things off!

You look at him because of his talent, but he has work issues.

Fair, and with the talent coming in, there had to be a reason behind what is transpiring. I will say, there seems to be a lot of QB options this year in the portal.

Tell you what God seems to be handing out a lot of portal advice. What kind of cut do you think he's getting from the NIL packages?

Not going to beat UNC for any QB until they get their full.

No their are bigger fish than UNC that will get their QBs

Don’t fall in love with the stars he had in HS… There will be better ones out there that have won and done well in college. 3 schools in 3 years while not starting at his 1st two tells me all I need to know. HS is a ton different that D1… can’t survive on talent alone and when the HS he played for was absolutely stacked it made it even easier for him to shine.

One big time target...(I think they may have eyes on at least two possibly three in particular)

If possible bring in an FBS/FCS guy with snaps/games under their belt that can challenge for spot in camp.

Possibly a JUCO guy for a live arm in camp.

Hard to know what happens with Ochoa at this point.
