First off, I can't stand CBS Sports Network....mainly because they have no online games (although proved they could do them easily by streaming the first few minutes of our game online while the Wichita game finished up), AND they don't have an option to replay the game.
...but what really pisses me off is that when the MWC originally signed on with CSTV, we were all encouraged to sign up, with a monthly fee, for a subscription that would give us access to games online. The first year or so on the contract, we did get games online, but then The MTN disaster happened... at that point, in order to get the MWC fans to pressure the cable and satellite provides to add the MTN, CSTV (who owned tht MTN) refused to broadcast games online.
The MTN failed, but we're still under contract. CBS buys CSTV, (and with it, our contract), and creates CBS Sports Network and rebrands the online subscription side of CSTV as CBS College Sports XXL. Shouldn't our conference be able to obligate CBS to add our teams to the XXL package? Furthermore, for you lawyers out there, since the public paid for a product that was promised to them and never fully delivered according the specifications, couldn't we file a class-action lawsuit? It wouldn't be much to each of us, but I literally kept my subscription, based on what they said they were going to do, for over 2 years....
...basically I'm just irritated right now that I can't watch a replay of last night's game.....but I feel that way every time we have a decent game on CBS Sports Network.... but it still bugs me that I paid $9.99/mo for nothing really....except radio streams, and that they kept the carrot out there making us think that it was coming soon. I'm pretty slow, so it took me 2 years to figure out they probably were never going to deliver on the promise.
