Runnin Rebels is designated for the Basketball team only. Just REBELS for football.

I think the Runnin' Rebel Football was said in jest. But as @RebelinWA said, with Lexington in the backfield (not to mention Campbell/Whitely/Williams) for the next 3 years, I think we'll see a lot of "Runnin'" out of our Rebel football team.
About "Runnin'", though, would you support the Football team putting a word before "Rebels"?
You've got the Hustlin' Rebels (baseball), Runnin' Rebels, and the hockey team has been using the Skatin' Rebels.
For many years, the Fumblin' Rebels would have been perfect. If you were gonna add a word, what would it be?

I want Rebels. No Hustlin Rebels, No Runnin Rebels just plain old Rebels.
I would like to go with " Student Section please don't leave the game early if we are going to win so when the players go to sing the fight song it isn't to empty stands" REBELS
I couldn't agree more I hope the school starts to house more students and the stadium is walking distance from campus. Hopefully you'll see more engagement the commuter life style just doesn't lend itself to building a die hard student fan base. Improve the campus lifestyle.
