Yeah, I think it was just misuse of the term. Can’t think how he means it … maybe he means nobody believing in them, fans not backing them, press not thinking much of them, kinda of like any faith in them was cancelled and it’s an us against the world philosophy since they’re the only ones that believe?

makes sense, just poor use of his phrasing.
