Always seem to outplay the competition in the first half and fade in the second half - the game against UNR has been the very rare exception.
Typical grind it out, tough game. Both defenses didn't give up too many easies - except when we broke the press. Loved that it was attacked. One thing to note on that press. Even though UNLV had success breaking it, there were two specifically where the Rebels didn't score (pulled it back out)... Wood floated around the three point line elbow instead of creating an extra option. I can't believe that's by design.
Foul trouble. Bigs have got to be good and smart. I know people hate when we go to zone, but I think we have no choice but to play some in the 2nd half to avoid foul trouble.
Chris should have only one. That was a BS call on O'Brien's miss.
Nice to see some execution vs the press and even some mixed success in the high post.
