It was a lot better deal for me to buy a 3 game package deal then just the individual game tickets. If I bought individual game tickets for upstairs in the middle of the court it was going to cost at least $38 plus fees. By buying a 3 game package it cost $66 for each ticket.

There still are a lot of unsold tickets as of late yesterday in the upper bowl, but I would guess we will see around 12K+ which is a good crowd.

Going with 2 others today and have been excited, but with measured expectations. I hate the notion that they get by far the biggest crowd of the year and get crushed so people go back to not caring.

That part would suck but you do need games like this for a draw. I’d rather have it like this, SDSU ranked, big UNLV crowd than SDSU sucks and we have a morgue.

I think the Rebs CAN beat SDSU, whether they will or not is another story. I think the Aztecs are slightly overrated. Lunardi said "Its time we take them seriously as National Title contenders". Really? Who have they beaten that shows that? Their best wins are against Iowa, who's currently #19, but also has losses to Nebraska and Depaul, Creighton, who's unranked and has a win over TTU, but not much else, and BYU who's good, but not great. Those are definitely very nice wins, but their SOS is currently 172 and I don't think they've shown that they're "National Title Contenders" at all. Wouldn't be surprised if they're out by the Sweet 16. Being undefeated is amazing, but they haven't played any of the true National Title Contenders yet, in fact I don't think they've played any Elite 8 contenders yet either.

You can strike the byu win because the byu team that is playing now is far better than the team at the beginning of the season which lost to sdsu. The loss by UNLV at reno shows that when UNLV has a shooting slump they are in trouble, in order to beat SDSU, they must be on target otherwise it will be a long night.

Offense from one guy cannot get you a win vs a solid team. Ball movement just around perimeter does you no good. Ball has to go inside out.

How bad do hardy and tillman look? Should not worry about them going anywhere after the season

Not sure I want either back next year. Hardy off the bench maybe. Tillman can go back to pac 12 where he can excel. Sorry, but I’m in a bad mood.

Considering UNLV has more players on the roster than scholarships, they will need to find some players next year that they will let go.
