Cedrick Crear doesn't think they should have made a contract with Beard without approval by the board.....I don't think we would ever be able to hire a coach again.
OMG Crear is a complete idiot. He doesn't understand that the APR is going to go down in Beard's first year but that is a product of the exodus. He also doesn't understand that if all bonuses are contingent on the team being postseason eligible, it is redundant to put a minimum APR clause in addition to that.

I remember when he basically told the students to f*** off back when the budget crisis was still around and students were protesting tuition hikes...I e-mailed him (as a constituent) and asked to him to explain his statement. He said something along the lines of "I'm not supposed to represent constituents who are students, only university officials"
Yes, he generally acts like a douche at meetings like you have seen today.
I've never been a superfan of the Leavitts in general, but I have to say that he is the brightest and most pragmatic regent on the board.

god after watching that, I feel more confident than ever that UNLV will never get a stadium with this clowns in charge
I can't wait to watch a furious Crear admonish the UNLV administration for not consulting the board before selecting the seats to be installed in the new stadium, if it ever gets built.
