Boise might be 20 pts. better than the second place team in the MWC, and yes, the cannon might be red this year. However, should you lose to Nevada, young scrubbie, the gloves will come off.
Are you going to the rivalry game game? I got a hot date and am going to watch a meatloaf musical at the Paris hotel & Casino at 7 pm. I might have an extra ticket. We can talk hella crap to each other.

Was that a smack? Just let the teams play and see who will win. The Rebs are reeling badly. If we beat Hawaii it is a miracle. Beating Reno is not a question. How badly we beat Reno is the question.
You guys are a little tough on the Rebel football team. My better half who is a Huskie graduate and a lifelong devotee of watching college football sees a good team in the Rebs. They have some problems with execution at times but the team as she said is well coached and fun to watch. She called the UCLA upset, the UW upset, said we'd lose Saturday, knows Alabama has a 7 to 14 point advantage walking on the field, that Michigan's coach sucks, FSU couldn't beat the Rebs etc. Her opinion of Arroyo is the play calling is limited due to injuries. This isn't Oregon and UW/FSU ex coach has proven this leagues coaches can do the job.
Quite a game, The Vikings/Bills game was game of the year. Romeo is out with a high ankle sprain, maybe for the rest of the year. Previous to the injury, he was the only rookie reciever with 30+receptions and 3 td catches.
Sorry Wolfgang..packers fan thought Romeo Doubs went to UNLV.

I am a lurker, being an alumni and fan of the University of Utah, and also a secondary fan of the Rebels. I think some of you are too tough on the Rebel football team. Unlike Utah, UNLV suffered from terrible administrative leadership in the past. However, if your team defeats Hawaii and Reno, goes 6-6, and participates in a bowl game, that is quite an achievement and concrete progress. With all of the other things going for UNLV, such as the Medical School, improved academics, stadium, facilities, and growing city/media market, achieving 6 to 9 wins per year should make you a prime candidate for future expansion. When the musical chairs end in a few years, I hope that Utah ends up in the Big 10 and UNLV in the Big 12. G-d willing, I hope to visit Las Vegas at some point in the next year, due to its large Jewish community and some friends that live there, and may also see a UNLV men's basketball game at that time.
