I watched game on espn3 and thought UNLV played with great effort. Their shooting sucks beyond belief. Most players have a bread and butter move to get a good look. I do not see that with any rebel. When you cannot trust your best players to score consistently, seem you got not much.

Is the Otz theory of go to the rim or shoot a 3 killing this team? Hardy, Ham, and tillman look better shooting mid range than bombing or going to the hole.

At this point, I am happy with the effort especially on defense. Otz gets credit for that. Can the team sustain this effort through a whole season as a buildup to next year? That is the main question in my mind.

They hustle, that's the only reason I still watch. They're not that good, but they get after it and compete. Maybe if Tillman didn't turn it over so much and if Antonio could start hitting his 3's, we would be better. Maybe getting EML back will help. I just want to see them get better and finish with a winning record. If they could make a run in the MWCT and maybe get to the final game, that would be fun. Finishing in the top half of the conference is crucial. Outside of SDSU, the league sucks. We should finish the top 4. That's not asking for a lot.
