Funny. When you get my age 88 doesn't seem that old.
Luc,y enough to see him play against the Minneapolis Lakers. Hated him! (Lol) A really great player. Controlled the lane.
Got to talk to him at a Rebel game. Told him about "hating" him in the old days. He laughed, said he didn't blame me, that the Celts were so great.

I met him at a a Rebel practice many, many years ago, perhaps when Bayno or Spoon were here. Super nice, down to earth; humble in greatness and he put up with a lot of racist bs over his years, but he persevered, didn’t play the victim, instead chose to rise above … that’s the mark of a man to me.
