Bayno was a D-1 assistant for 7 years (same as KK) at UMass before he was hired to replace Grg and he was only 32 years old. I don’t remember many, if any, questions as to his qualifications similar to KK right now. Looking back, it can be argued that BB had the second best run out of any UNLV coach in the post Tark era going to 2 NIT’s, 1 ncaa and winning UNLV’s last conference championship in his 1st 4 years in much tougher WAC and MWC. So let’s give KK a chance and see what he can do and not assume he won’t get it done.
