Fred Taylor was a recruit, UGA gave him $50k to entice him to go to UGA, obviously Taylor played at UF where I assume he was paid even more. This was in the mid 90's so all of it was a NCAA rule violation and not allowed. We dont know if the person that paid Taylor at UGA requested the money back or if Taylor gave it back, but Im guessing probably not to both.

Now the rest of scramble for crumbs, players that are 8-12 or 3rd string on those schools that have money.

The NCAA isn’t going to care about the massive imbalance, money will still be generated and they’ll be paid.

In order:
1. Make money for the NCAA.
2. Make money for the P5.
3. Send any leftovers to the masses.
