Best NBA Player from Nevada

Lionel Hollins out of Rancho HS IMO. He was a NBA starter at point guard and key part of the Portland Trailblazers NBA championship team. Portland had his number retired in 2007.

He was not born in Nevada but a very good player.

Both GA and LH are Rancho HS grads. It seems to me if you went to high school in Nevada that's where you are from.

So anyone who goes to Findlay Prep would be considered from Nevada?

CJ Watson, just because he banged Money May's wife and made him spend 30 days in jail for beating her up once he found out !!

Does kindergarten, grade school and Jr high before high school count? How about the Nevada High School Sports and Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame? On Hollins history in Vegas:

"Born in Kansas on October 19, 1953, Hollins moved to Los Angeles as a toddler and then, when his parents divorced, relocated with his mother to Las Vegas, and that's where his basketball resume began to take shape.

As a grade-schooler, Hollins and his teammates would pack into one of his teacher's tiny cars to go play in one of Sin City's youth leagues, and about a decade later, he would overcome more struggle - including his mother's death from cancer when he was 13 - to finish a distinguished career at Rancho High School in North Las Vegas that would eventually earn him induction into both the Nevada High School Sports and the Southern Nevada Sports Halls of Fame."
