The ignore feature is great. Especially if your delicate sensibilities make it difficult to handle opinions that are different from yours.
Seriously, I put my name on every post. I don't hide behind a screen name. I am not afraid to disagree with other posters.
I will admit that I am a fierce defender of players who are recruited to play for UNLV. They practice and play hard, are good teammates,, and work on academics. If they fulfill their part of the deal, that is worthy of at least, respect. They are not pieces of meat, to be discarded or demeaned simply because their stats disappoint us.
If a player does not fit the plan for the coming year, and the coach is honest with him, fair enough. If that means encouraging him to move elsewhere, I would hope that the coach who encouraged him to attend in the first place would assist him in relocating.
For us, being honest about a player's success is reasonable. Making fun of injuries, particularly head injuries, is not.
I pointed that out. I put my name on it. Internet warrior guy. Oh, and I don't block anyone. We I.W.s aren't afraid.
