Leon Rice is a size 22 clown shoe.I didnt watch more than about 25 minutes of MWC BB this season, part of a UNLV game and parts of maybe 2 or 3 SDSU games so I dont know anything about any of the schools, I kept hearing the last week how strong the MWC was, I think Leon Rice said as strong as he has ever seen it. Kind of a tough agrument to make after this week. The selection committee didnt do any favors to CSU by having them play UM in Indy or Wyoming playing IU in Dayton.
CIT, CBI does it matter? Neither is an accomplisment and both have schools that say no to an invite who would rather shut it down for the year.Had no idea the cit was still a thing. Just found out Fresno St is playing in it. I guess they beat Eastern Washington today. Kind of sad they couldn't even make it in the CBI tourney. I will laugh when they lose to UMES or FGCU
IMO, with NIL it's going to be hard for any team in the MWC to recruit like CDR unless they have a very wealthy Sugardaddy. With the exception of SDSU the MWC teams have no pro caliber talent. Dave Rice showed we can recruit 4 and 5 stars to the point where SDSU's talent level would look positively quaint by comparison. We should be wiping the floor with the MWC teams. I hope CKK can get us there.
And we’ve done even less with lesser recruiting since then … we are just above 500 in the 6 years he hasn’t been here …Who cares about Rice’s recruiting, he did very little with it come MWC or in the NCAA’s! 5 stars aren’t needed but good coaching and managing the transfer portal is what we need going forward!
Unlv was under probation in late 70's and went a couple years without post seasonAnd we’ve done even less with lesser recruiting since then … we are just above 500 in the 6 years he hasn’t been here …
I think the most seasons UNLV has gone without an NCAA/NIT was two since the early 70’s. We are at 9 years straight now.
Ok. Based on eligibility and results. You get the point.Unlv was under probation in late 70's and went a couple years without post season
