I don't know why I find this so ridiculous...
Not the portal itself. A dedicated site pumping up only players who went through the transfer portal..
I laughed too. Heartily.
Next we will have the P5 to G5 player of the week or G5 to P5 player of the week. Soon to be followed by the 6”2’ player of the week. The west of the Mississippi player of the week.

It's great to see UNLV players get recognized.
Bull, I didn’t take it that way at all. But many of the sites like 24/7, Rivals, ESPN ect. do try to predict the top rated players entering the transfer portal before the season starts. Similarly the same predictions are relied upon by some fans to determine the effectiveness of their schools recruiting in the portal. In this case there is some form of recognition based on actual performance on the field and not just an opinion by some writer from Rivals, 24/7 or ESPN. It has limited value. But better than an opinion.
