UNLV currently has way more players with offers then spot available, and they continue to recruit with the hope of upgrading even more. Currently I list 59 football recruits that I have followed on twitter with offers, and I expect that number could be near 100 before next year.

If UNLV has a decent year this next season, I would not be surprised at all if they have the #1 class in the MWC for 2017.

Would not be shocked to see a #HeyReb this week.

Generally a kid is not going to commit the week he is offered unless it is his dream school. Most kids want to see the school and meet with coaches before make the big commit. And then you still have to worry about other schools offering and getting in contact.

I was talking more about locals.

We essentially had Garcia and Caldwell at this point last year.

You are correct about getting commitments this early, it is not very common. This is especially true at UNLV who has struggled to land early commitments in the past. Most notably during the Huack era where until Dalton Sneed, I don't believe we had any early commitments, local or otherwise.

Sanchez has been very aggressive with local recruits this year and I believe M. Grayson is already a verbal.

I would not be surprised to see another local commit.
