Go to the MWC board. He’s still around. Rebelation put his butt in check.RebelRobert
haven’t heard that name in a while.
You're the only was talking about that. I thought it crazy then. Not too crazy now. GO ACES! They're down double digits right now...in the first half.Should have hired Becky Hammon..
You think Vegas will riot if they bring a title to the city??!!!You're the only was talking about that. I thought it crazy then. Not too crazy now. GO ACES! They're down double digits right now...in the first half.
Naked titties all over the cityYou think Vegas will riot if they bring a title to the city??!!!
No naked titties? You should have seen when UNLV won it in 1990. Some of them titties look like noodle string. But they are all naked around Maryland PKWY. I highly doubt it you will ever see that type of jubilation when the Raiders or the Knights win the trophies. UNLV football or basketball, maybe..18 seconds away from being WNBA champions
I think is NOT having high tech benefitted us back then for such a celebration. You are right, there were topless coeds all over Maryland Parkway. As a red blooded dude, yep, it was pretty awesome. The sheer jubilation was surreal. Special time, special place, I’ll always hold onto it with the best of memories. Feel sad for our fans that were too young or not born or the old people that have the fading memories. No naked titties? You should have seen when UNLV won it in 1990. We will never ever see that level of enthusiasms again in Vegas. One, UNLV was viewed by the NCAA and its "admins" as a "BAD BOYS" OF college bball. Two: The sheer domination of the championship game was surreal. To be honest, my old feeling felt it Saturday against UNT, a little bit. IF UNLV abuse USU Saturday, who knows..I think is NOT having high tech benefitted us back then for such a celebration. You are right, there were topless coeds all over Maryland Parkway. The girls team winning it, yeah, quite an accomplishment, but it’s not going to move the city.
I can see it if there was an NFL championship or especially the Knights (because they were “born”here and they are “ours”, like the Rebels are). I think the Raiders winning it would be … crazy in a bad way. Doesn’t take a whole lot of people to make a celebration go sideways and I think the Raider fanbase has more than their fair share of those types. I think VGK would be a more sane and stable celebration.
