First, why did we start all the bigs we have? Zimm I get and even Jones. Bring one off the bench as relief. You know Morgan is as smart as a rock so let him spell the others when they need a break.
To start the second half why start Morgan with his three fouls? He didn't show that he can foul well enough up to that point? Make him prove how efficient he is at keeping his 2 minutes played for every 1 foul ratio?
Second, why make Zimm double the PG out at the half court line? It takes him out of the paint completely. UNM owned us down low at the end of the game and guess who watched that from half court???
We had 2 timeouts when we got the ball down 2 with 15 seconds left. Why not call one and set up a play instead of letting Seagears "create"? Obviously that didn't turn out so well.
When UNM inbounded the ball at the end and we knew we had to foul why were guys with 3 and 4 fouls out there? Can't Cheaney foul as well as Seagears and Zimm? You can send those guys back in after the foul since time had expired from the clock.
