Edit: I mentioned in another thread that I expect them to win vs USU and at UNM. I stand by that.
If either happens, they won't hold the record for consecutive losses. In fact, going by days since win, thats probably the fewest ever played by UNLV in that span.
Tyler B will find any way to bash UNLV. This isn’t new.
The positive is that we played without two QB’s making the trip and Plant and the USC DE playing, and held our own against an undefeated team.

You won’t get an argument out of me. I predicted we’d be U 1.5 wins this season and still think we will be. We should have won one game by now and I’m disappointed that we didn’t.
Amazing that our fan base has maintained a level of accepting one or two wins as proof of success for so many years. A coach gets 4 wins and we want to give him an extension and an extra Mil a year. We're like poodles who don't get attention and then wet ourselves when someone pets us on the head.
Fresno beat Fresno last night. If their QB had the game against us he had last night we boat race them.
Improvement is there with this team. I've seen it every game. We finally find a half decent QB but he's brittle. D is better. Tackling at times is questionable but much better overall from years past. DBs still need work but that's always the toughest part of the D to get down.
Something isn't right coming out after half though. So flat every time. Is it fire, passion? Idk. That's one thing about Sanchez, he had passion & I think the kids felt it. I know I did.

Exactly. This is just a rope-a-dope with the next 9 opponents, including the inevitable bowl game we are going to.

Were within a score of EWU.
Were within a score of Fresno State.
Were within a score of UTSA.
Played pretty well vs a good ASU team for a half until Brumfield went out.
0-5 is 0-5. No way to sugar coat it.
But they aren't as far off as the record would indicate..
Hawaii, Utah State, UNM are all teams that they can compete physically with.

If we go winless the rest of the season it will be 726 days. Which would then extend the streak to 915 days going in to the 1st game of the 2022 season. SMDH

Rebels have the highest Strength of Schedule in the MWC. Makes it really difficult to predict future results. I think the Utah State game will be a real predictor because both teams are coming off a bye and Utah State is relatively near us in SOS. If we pull off a win I can see a four win season which would seem miraculous considering our start.
4 of the 5 teams we have lost to would probably win the MWC Mountain and finish second in the West. The other would be 2nd or 3rd in each (EWU, who is a top 5 FCS team)....
