We're about 6 players away from being competitive in our league. A solid quarterback and 5 quality offensive linemen. With that, I believe we'd be 2-3 with a good shot at winning 6 games total.

We are a lot further away to being competitive than you think. UNLV would need a commitment to athletics (football) from the top. Nevada politics (the university system) is all screwed up. It's not in the cards for UNLV football. The stadium accomplished absolutely nothing for UNLV, now we just have even more empty seats than we did before. The best thing UNLV has to celebrate today is a former player (Armani Rodgers who transferred) went off for a 99 yard run today. New coach is winless - lets see how we do against USU ......but even if we win.... we are still a pathetic football program. as bad as it gets !!!

Defense did make a nice stand to only allow fg on nevada last drive.
Offense showing absolutely nothing. Nice 2 yard pass on 3rd and 22. Might as take a knee if you are going to call give up plays like that.
Defense backs never look at ball even when receiver stops. Then it is basically a basketball post up from there.

Three running backs? I’d take one of the three, probably Sanders (even though Payton was my favorite, but I’d take any of the three). Leaving two slots. And to be honest, though he may not have been the greatest ever, I’d use one of those spots for Deion Sanders - great in coverage, and you automatically have a huge threat on kick and punt returns. Too much versatility with him.
Eric Dickerson is my favorite RB of all time. Had he stayed with the Rams probbaly would be the career yards leader.

Also uconn and UMass in reality are both much worse than this unlv team., so 129/130 is hilarious to me
Would it shock you that I didn't know I had three running backs in the list? I handpicked Barry Sanders, but I have to be honest - I wouldn't be able to pick the other to RBs from the rest. LOL
