6' 242 LB from Portland, participating in Polynesian Bowl this weekend.

He has visited Navy and will visit UNLV next weekend (weekend of Jan 26th). His brother plays for Navy, so that is tough competition... but on the positive side, it sounds like UNLV is the only other visit he'll do even though:

Hawaii and Air Force are trying to get him to visit.
"I don't know if I'll visit them, I don't think I am planning on it," said Salu.

That is pretty bad ass, especially considering this looked to be a bit of a "down" year. Have we ad 10 in one class before?

I do not recall what sports 24/7 had us last year. But last year was one or our best years if not the best. I am sure Rebel 1986 has intel on this.... If memory servise this is one of our 3 best years.

2014 UNLV had 3 3* players out of 19 and the 117 ranked class

Which rankings are these? Rivals has UNLV at 94 and it’s missing one recruit. It’s not as good as 2016 on paper, but for what this team needs I love this class even more. We’re building on 2016 and filling holes needed on defense.
