Did anybody see the first practice? The Las Vegas Sun and RJ both reported on how fast paced it was. Any info about that practice would be appreciated

"We talkin about practice???"

We are still in the first quarter of the football season.

I think it's pretty much accepted Football season is over. Sanchez is too stubborn to change. He's taking the A' train down the drain! I do hope things turn around but not much confidence it will. I wonder if next coach will invest his future in Armani?

I found this. In the beginning when Bolinger is speaking you can see Elijah Mitrou-Long miss 6 shots in a row from the corner. I hope that's not an indicator. It should at least be a more exciting brand of basketball.

Reminds me of pregame shoot-arounds. Maybe have a little fun and ID the guys on the other tea that can shoot and the ones that cant. And then the game starts and its completely opposite of the shoot-around. The dudes that were missing in warmups are delivering a shooting clinic on your home floor, blowing the Rebs right out of the gym.

? Why ? I liked when Kruger allowed the public into practice!
I think a coach should do whatever they want. Kruger was mostly open, closed it after a bit, opened, closed... Rice was open, then closed.... Munchies was closed.

I don't have a problem with any coaches philosophy. As a fan, sure, you want to see all you can. If I were a coach, they'd be closed. Not for worrying about trade secrets - for focus and unity. Plus, I'd want things to get out of hands at times too. Better behind those closed doors for that kind of stuff.

Scrub - If you hate UNLV football so much, then ignore it. We all know that the current coach is not working out, but with the exception of you, the rest of us want UNLV football to succeed!

Bro,
I think he loves the Rebs as much as the rest of us. Frustration is just setting in. Let us hang together.

I’m out this fight. Just gonna focus on basketball.

You guys are wasting your time and money on a school that doesn’t care.

They don’t deserve to play in a new pro stadium.

Pretty soon, basketball will share the same fate.

You guys don’t see it.

T-Mobile and Allegiant Stadium = death knell of UNLV Athletics.

Say hello to USF Southwest

It’s a tough admission to make for many, myself included. Has been for a long time. And while it is far from definite, to me that scenario is far more likely than any true success ... and treading water will only bring us to the fate you spreak of.

It sucks to see things that way. To not admit it as a distinct possibility is ostrich/sand.

UNLV missed out, I’m afraid. Lots of time to get it right, decades. Fail.

Hey, let Tark finish his career naturally and pass off a strong program to somebody under his wing who has the teachings and same vision .... UNLV athletics is in a far, far different place. Far different. Money hand over fist, the ability to take care of football and move forward in conference. That was all imploded by Maxson and his cronies and those that followed.

Maxson has to be ecstatic to see his plan coming to fruition. Hopefully he’s 10 feet under before it happens.
