Sorry trout, I'm so damn lazy.

Ex Machina 8 out of 10
Naked female robots..nuff said.

I want to protest new Mad Max and Poltergeist remake out of spite. Old one was so classic..

What u got,

So far I have done:

Avengers - I am not a big comic-book guy but it was entertaining - 7

Mad Max - I was totally impressed and surprised 5 min of dialog and 115 min car chase = Mad Max and when I saw Joe for the first time and put 2 and 2 together i was freaking out (I avoided most of the hype and build up info wanted to go in fresh) - 10

Tomorrowland - I went to this with some friends and family old and young it can be a bit preachy and judgmental at times but I think most of it is true so it was easy for me to overlook. Everyone had a good time and for the most part it was a fun movie all around (Oh and since I saw this during yesterdays earthquake it had the best special effects I have ever been part of :p) - 7.5

P.S. - I am a old Mad Max junkie Scrub go see it you will be pleased it's a real good time...

He will deny it, but I swear on everything that's Holy that @T.E. Parker said Pitch Perfect 2 or whatever it is called was a great movie. Which, to me, means he's severely whipped again. Probably even worse than before

Oh, and @DaMrYo can confirm it. He was sitting there in disbelief as he made the admission.

Saw Mad Max yesterday. Entertaining. No story line, but 2 hours of pure Mad Max rush.

Avengers - Really good. Worth watching the Marvel Universe, they all tie together from TV to the movies.

Taking herd to see Neverland now.

Ex Machina - 9.5
this movie is excellent. don't expect lots of blow ups, but it's a good story and captivating if you don't mind watching things evolve.

Avengers - 7
would've been better if they didn't make every fight last 10 minutes. the Hulk vs Iron Man was ridiculous. almost like they brought in Michael Bay to direct that scene to see just how much they could blow up. still it's well worth seeing. one other thing that was good was how Ultron had a hint of Robert California in him with his head tilting.

Mad Max - 8
there are some really ridiculous wild things in this one, which made it very entertaining. that guitar player made me laugh every time they showed him rocking out. well worth it.

What We Do In the Shadows - 10
if you enjoyed the show Flight of the Conchords and can handle silly stuff like Best In Show you will love this movie.

Tomorrowland - 5 out of 10. Special Effects really good. Save the Earth with your imagination for the future? Not so good. Hollywood needs to stop casting English kids in movies. It killed Exodus: Gods and Kings, almost killed this movie as well. We seen the plot before. A robot helping a kid because she is the key to the future. We seen secret service men chasing people. I hate George Clooney, it's gotta be at least 15 years since I seen the guy. Batman? out of Sight with J Lopez?

we've seen every story before. that's why there are so many comic book & remakes. the comics are untapped stories.

i'm starting to enjoy TV series much more. they generally try to fit 5 hours worth of a story into 2 hours for a movie. which leads to a lot of crap. TV Series "develop" (unlike our entire coaching staff) characters and generally have the story mapped out. the only problem is when the idea makes money and they keep going at it too long (Dexter).

Watching Aquarius with Agent Mulder's dad hunting down Charles Manson on NBC.

Opener so far is pretty awesome. I must be getting old. Since when did oral sex and smoking weed on national television become uhh legalized or shown like its normal?

Off Topic:
Supposedly Manson was a decent song writer. Axl Rose did "look at your game girl" cover on the spaghetti incident Album. It's freakin terrible.

Yea Tomorrowland was .... blah ..... my kids were like: "Killing the bad guy was to easy".

Have heard ex-Machina is really good as stated above. Going to have to check that out I think.

Hopefully Jurassic Park and Terminator live up.....

all kinds of stuff happens on tv now. the erection meds during football games bother me. i don't think it's okay for 8 year olds to hear about 4 hour erections.

just saw that Big Trouble In Little China is getting re-made. Rock = Jack Burton. not too happy about it. i like the Rock, but he's not Jack Burton in my mind. too beefy. would you have the Rock be Snake Plisken?

They are also remaking Point Break. Patrick swayze rolling in his grave.

Finally gave in and watched Mad Max. Sorry guys, it's at most a 6. It's gotta be the longest car chase movie since either Speed with Sandra Bullock, Smokie and the Bandit,or Cannonball Run.

I got in the movie late so I missed the opening scrawl of whatever happened that became of Australia.

I saw a couple of senior citizens get up and walk out about 10 minutes into the movie, Was about to join them...I was about to pass out until about 3 quarters of the movie when the final chase scene begins. I said to myself," I'm taking this movie way too seriously" so I finally paid attention.

This movie is fun, it's over the freakin top, the automobiles trucks are amazing. What happens when you turn a bunch of Cirq De Soleil dancers into a bunch of Carjacking pirates? You get this movie.

I will give them credit. It's a very high action flick, I just can't take it seriously as an apocolyptic movie in 2015.

I guess there are no radio stations in the future, thus the guitar guy and the drummers in their own car blasting music while killing people.

My next review is Spy. Starring the fat chick Melissa McCarthy. This is a total upgrade over last year's crapfest known as Tammy. The movie is funny in spurts but not funny funny funny. I give this movie between 6.8 and 7.2, so that makes it a 7, right? It's not bad for a summer comedy. Rose Byrne is one fine piece of Australian ass and the whore from Firefly makes an appearance. God bless Morena Bacarrin. The kitchen fight scene might be one of the female to female fights I've seen since Kill Bill.

Avengers>Spy>Mad Max>Tomorrowland

that's what i liked about Mad Max, complete wildness. no one should take that movie serious. every time they showed that guitar player i literally laughed out loud. couldn't get over it.

these were some of my highlights:
the pole vaulting around was great
Max being a "Blood Bag"
spitting the boost liquid crap into the air intakes (brilliant)
the mutant midget/dwarf/imp
"this is my baby brother and he's perfect!!!" <--- classic line

there are more, but it's late and i'm tired.

Mad Max was awesome, I loved the guitar that shoots fire. Plus the different vehicles were cool. Plus the character The Pig gave me the creeps. Completely over the top fun. Looking forward to Ted 2 which looks hilarious.

i saw Spy. didn't want to, but glad i did. i laughed quite a bit. Jason Statham was great in this. he and McCarthy went at it verbally every scene they were together and i laughed throughout those scenes.

i gave it a 7 like Scrub did. that's not a "C", but a 7 out of 10. a 5 would be a middle of the run movie. so, Spy was better than average.

Love and Mercy- if you are a fan of the Beach Boys or Brian Wilson, this is a must see. The recreations of the recording sessions are awesome to watch. Not a 'summer movie' per se, but a movie released in summer.
As for Mad Max, I couldn't disagree with Scrub more. That was post apocalyptic porn for me. The fact that it was done using virtually no CGI makes it more organic and crazy. I have to add mention of how they sprayed silver paint (I think it was paint?) in their mouths before self immolation. Freaking weird, but great to watch.

Ted 2. 9 out of 10..(probably a bit too high)

Surpassed the 1st one by a mile. I'm glad I grew up in the 80's. Got nearly 99 percent of the movie and soundtrack references. Florian Trout, the comic-con montage with about every character in the universe thrown in there would make your head spin as a movie addict. What's sad is that I probably couldn't name the older movie soundtracks that were thrown in there.

Ted's trashy Boston white girl is so damn dirty hot. I want to reproduce with one before I die.

Death to Ming!!

i'm with you on the first Ted. i chuckled here and there, but not a lot. could've been my mood. if i get bored i'll see it, but Terminator will be next for me.

I think Ted 2 is raunchiest movie I've ever seen.

Arizona St rep takes a huge hit.

Not getting my hopes high for Terminator. They are already gonna find a way to mess things up.

for me, the hit/miss ration on Beavis & Butthead was not good enough.

Terminator
didn't like either of the Clarkes.
time travel = confusion.
great to see Arnold. he doesn't have a lot of range, but what he does, no one does better.

Score: 6.0 (only because of Arnold. without him, a 3)

Terminator 5. Wow, I dunno what to say. How to kill your franchise? by making the previous 4 movies not exist!!!! Lol lol lol,

is the movie watchable? Yes, by all means go see it. Is the new Sarah Connor any good? She is fugly. No seriously. She might be the ugliest typed female action hero in all of cinematic history.i kept looking at her trying to find any redeeming qualities. Nothing except the 5 second strip tease.

I honestly can't explain this movie. hell, I didn't understand it but I liked it.

I'm gonna give this movie a solid 4.

I'm gonna go on record and say Arnold is the greatest action movie star of all time. He's that good. He can make a terrible movie into a below average movie.

Haha, I had a premonition about this movie. I went and played Lazer Tag with my nephews for the first time earlier in the day.You pop in 20 bucks for an hour and shoot kids with Lazer beams

Saw this movie on a whim today. POW, 10 minutes of futuristic sci fi bliss that I lived a couple of hours earlier.

Ted 1 was really funny to me but maybe because my humor can sometimes be at a stoner level. (I don't smoke the stuff, I just get the humor)
My humor is definitely stoner level.

Because well, you know. Even then, I didn't find Ted that funny at all. Parts were okay, but I was pretty disappointed.

For Ted 2 I think Scrub was being very generous in the rating. There were very funny parts but at times I was somewhat bored.
If you go see it in a theater you'll be pissed about how much you spend. If you wait for it to come out then you'll be good with the value.

The Overnight - 2

started off pretty funny. i like Schwartzman and he/it was good for a while and then it went to crap. lame crap fast. too bad, could've been a decent comedy. should've went to see Magic Mike XL!!!

Huge fan of the paranormal activity franchise..

Can't wait to see Ghost Dimension

Pixels with Adam Sandler..

2 out of 10.

Seriously, wait for it on Netflix . No, don't even do that.

man from U.N.C.L.E. 9/10

Spy movie set in the 60's. Guess it's based from the TV franchise from the 60's.

Guy Ritchie directed it so the humor is seen in bits and pieces.

Pretty damn good movie. Can't wait for the sequel.

Man From U.N.C.L.E. - 6
i thought it was pretty good, i laughed, and it had Ritchie's flavor.

Cop Car - 5
decent. started off good, but the kids were a little too naive for me. no way they do the vest thing.

Ant Man - 7.5
this is a good one.

True Detective - 2
that opening song was the start of something terrible. can't believe this is what they followed the very good first one with.

looking forward to seeing Mission Impossible next.
