Mark Wade held the record for the most assists in an NCAA tournament game (18) when UNLV played Indiana in the Final Four in 1987. Kansas St.'s Markquis Nowell just broke it with (19) in an overtime win vs. Michigan State. At least UNLV was mentioned in a tournament game this year.
