i agree. even if he redshirted, he'd be playing/practicing against Div I players. world of difference.

That would be similar to what C. Wood did, although I think JJ is farther along in his development. I agree that a RS year practicing with and learning his new team, rather than playing against HS players would be better. The one negative would be that he burns his RS.

he definitely shouldn't use his redshirt. if the staff is blown up, he'd need that if he wanted to transfer.

he is not a 4 year player.
